Carlos Ghosn becomes Chairman of AVTOVAZ Board of Directors

Carlos Ghosn is now Chairman of the new AVTOVAZ Board of Directors. The board is now composed of 15 members (up from 12 previously), including eight people from the Renault-Nissan Alliance.

Sergey Chemezov, head of Russian Technologies State Corporation and previously Chairman of the AVTOVAZ Board of Directors, is now Vice Chairman of the AVTOVAZ Board of Directors.

“The Alliance is committed to providing the resources and expertise necessary to transform AVTOVAZ into a world-class car manufacturer,” Carlos Ghosn said after the AVTOVAZ General Shareholders Meeting today.
