Rolling foothills of the European Alps, vast vineyards, large
lakes and a world famous racetrack in the Italian city of Franciacorta set the
stage for the local media’s test drive of the all-new Kia pro_cee’d GT. The pro_cee’d GT powers Kia into one of
the most high-profile market segments in Europe, and it’s among our most
performance-focused production cars ever. And last month was an opportunity to
make an impression with the Italian automotive pros, who are no stranger to
high-performance with Italy being a leader in producing the world’s best
supercars.
Fitted with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, the
front-wheel drive models can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in 7.7 seconds and
reach a top speed of 230 kph. The pro_cee’d GT can accelerate from 60-100
kph in fourth gear in 5.4 seconds, 80-120 kph in fifth gear in 7.3 seconds and
80-120 kph in sixth gear in 8.8 seconds. These journalists were in for a ride
and we wanted to share some eye catching post event photos from our Flickr
gallery here on Kia-Buzz.
