At the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, which begins on April 20, Renault presents New Fluence, a modern, status-enhancing
sedan whose dynamic looks are reinforced by a new front end and interior.
Renault is thus pursuing its growth on the imported vehicle market in China. In
2012, Renault sold 29,724 vehicles in
China (+22.4%), thanks to the success of Koleos and a full range of sedans,
from Fluence to Talisman.
The Group is developing its network, set to grow from 95 dealers in 2012 to 170 dealers by 2014, and the strength of a
brand image that embodies automobile competition.
Renault confirms its desire to take on a new dimension in China with its
plan to manufacture locally, relying on Nissan's partner, Dongfeng. Following
the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding with Dongfeng in 2012, Renault
is expecting the Chinese authorities to approve the project by the end of the
year.
